How Carrier Zen handles website, workspace, communications, AI-assisted, operational, support, and consent data.
Overview
Carrier Zen provides workforce operations software for delivery and logistics companies. The service helps companies manage scheduling, team member records, attendance and timekeeping, team communications, recruiting, candidate interviews, vehicle inspections, documents, reports, and payroll-supporting records.
Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how Carrier Zen is used. It may include account and contact details, company workspace settings, team member profile data, attendance and timekeeping records, payroll-supporting records, candidate and recruiting information, video interview materials, chat and communications data, uploaded documents and media, vehicle and inspection records, mobile/device data, website and cookie information, support requests, diagnostics, and AI-assisted workflow data.
How We Use Information
Carrier Zen uses information to create and secure accounts, provide workspace features, show data to authorized company users based on permissions, process attendance and payroll-supporting workflows, operate communications, record consent and audit evidence, generate reports, support customers, prevent abuse, monitor reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Customer Workspace Control
The company that creates or manages a Carrier Zen workspace usually controls the team member, candidate, attendance, chat, document, report, and payroll-supporting information in that workspace. Carrier Zen processes that information to provide the service. Company owners, admins, managers, and other authorized users may access workspace information based on their roles and permissions.
Carrier Zen Personnel Access
Limited authorized Carrier Zen personnel may access customer workspace data when needed for support, security, debugging, maintenance, incident response, account administration, legal compliance, billing/account operations, abuse prevention, or other service-related purposes. Sensitive internal access should be purpose-limited and logged where practical.
Attendance, Location, and Device Data
When enabled by a company, Carrier Zen may collect GPS/location, timestamp, address, device, app version, attendance status, break, inspection, or geofence evidence when a user clocks in, clocks out, starts or ends a break, submits an inspection, or uses another location-based workflow. Carrier Zen does not use this notice to authorize hidden continuous personal tracking.
Communications, Recordings, and Monitoring
Carrier Zen chat and communication tools are business communication features. Messages, files, delivery/read receipts, participants, phone/email metadata, broadcasts, voice calls, voicemails, transcripts, concern alerts, and related logs may be stored and may be visible to authorized company users based on permissions.
AI-Assisted Features
Carrier Zen may use AI-assisted tools for enabled workflows such as document extraction, transcription, summarization, scoring, validation, assistant responses, or operational insights. AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by authorized users before they are relied on.
No Model Training Without Express Opt-In
Carrier Zen does not use customer workspace content to train Carrier Zen-owned AI models, fine-tune third-party models, or permit third-party AI providers to train foundation models on customer workspace data unless the customer expressly opts in through a separate agreement, data-processing term, or feature-specific consent.
Cookies and Browser Storage
Carrier Zen uses essential and functional cookies, local storage, and session storage for authentication, CSRF protection, security, session management, user preferences, chat delivery identifiers, diagnostics, and service functionality. Marketing or advertising tools should be separately disclosed and consented to where required before they are enabled.
SMS, Email, and Push Notifications
Carrier Zen may send operational messages about account access, shifts, schedules, chat, attendance, recruiting, onboarding, safety, support, security, billing, and service updates. Marketing messages are separate from operational communications and should have separate opt-in and opt-out handling where required.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
Carrier Zen does not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers that support message delivery, customer care, security, and other essential business operations, but those providers may use the information only to perform services for Carrier Zen. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
Retention and Privacy Requests
Carrier Zen retains information for as long as needed to provide the service, support customer operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, enforce agreements, and preserve payroll, attendance, safety, recruiting, communications, consent, or compliance records. You may request access, correction, deletion, export, or other privacy assistance by contacting Carrier Zen at [email protected].
